How does the 'Scam' work?
Due to the lack of regulation within the holiday park industry there has been room for predatory Parks and salespeople to take advantage and do anything needed to secure a sale.
The sales pitch: Many salespeople will lead consumers to believe that they are able to live onsite, going as far as advising them on how to do this to circumvent the site rules and planning permissions laid down by the council.
Affectionately referred to as 'The Golden Bullet' coined by Pure Leisure employees. The salespeople use every trick in the book to legitimize the practise to the consumer and assures them that they have a home not a holiday.
